Norm was great. As soon as he showed up he got right down to business, which I appreciated. He ask where I thought I had lost my ring and how I thought it was lost. He seemed very intentional with his questioning, like a detective from an old movie. He told me, “Leave it to me, I’ll find it” leaving me feeling like I found the right person for the job. Norm got started and I went inside. After about an hour I looked out my window and saw how much ground he had covered and started to lose hope, wondering if I had pointed him in the wrong direction or if the snow was just too thick. Another half an hour or so went by and Norm knocked on the door with no mention of my ring. We invited him inside for a cup of tea as it was quite cold that day. I started to tell him where else I thought it might be, he told me that based on what I told him before it would not likely be elsewhere. Then he raised his glove and laying in his palm was my ring, with snow still in the center of it. I was overjoyed and yelled out, “He found it!”. Norm really made my day after days of wondering if I would ever see my ring again. He came inside to have his tea and told us some funny stories of lost items he had found for other people. Norm is a great guy, and his experience really shows. I hope I don’t need his help in the future but if I do, he’ll be the first person I call. Highly recommend Norm’s services for any lost items!
